Hill Farm is a family-run holiday complex in North Devon, offering cosy self-catering cottages set in 6 acres of countryside. Our dog-friendly cottages are perfect for families, with free WiFi, the largest private indoor heated swimming pool open all year round, an indoor games room and an outdoor play area.
Children love helping feed our friendly farm animals, including goats, pigs, ducks, rabbits and ponies with new arrivals often appearing during your stay.
We are close to Instow and Westward Ho! beaches, the Tarka Trail, and other North Devon attractions making Hill Farm ideal for relaxing countryside getaway.

Lovely 5-day stay at Hill Farm Cottages! Perfect for families - our 4-year-old loved feeding the animals (especially the giant tortoises), swimming, the games room, and exploring. Great location for local attractions too. Mike and Julie were wonderful hosts, making us feel very welcome. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Amazing can't recommend enough. The cottages are lovely, clean, and very well equipped. We loved the swimming pool, games room and play area. The highlight was the animals and getting to feed them. The hosts and the effort and love they show to the farm and the cottages make this place very special.

Indoor Games Room
Our indoor games room contains table tennis, free-to-play pool table along with play farm and construction site, children’s toy shop, dolls house and numerous other toys, for girls and boys alike.

Indoor Swimming Pool
We understand that we have the largest indoor heated swimming pool (for the size of our complex) in the whole of Devon. We keep it heated at a baby/child/adult friendly 30 degrees. We have spacious changing rooms with toilet facilities and a shower.

Outdoor Space, BBQ and Play Area
As well as our swimming pool, you’ll find plenty to do onsite. Our cottages are set in six acres of beautiful Devon countryside, with fields, barbecue and patio areas. The grounds include a climbing frame, slides, and swings, with a sandpit and badminton area available in the summer.

Safe Hounds Dog Park
We have introduced a 2 acre secure dog walking field with agility equipment on site at Hill Farm. It is secured with brand new fencing so you can enjoy walking your dog(s) in a safe location with beautiful views across the Torrington. Two free sessions for Hill Farm Guests!
