Meet the Animals

Welcome to the heart of the farm.

Hill Farm is home to a whole host of friendly animals, and we encourage you to spend some time meeting the residents who make our farm so special.

Our farm is a forever home for a delightful and diverse family of residents including Ponies, Pygmy Goats, Sheep, Chickens, Ducks, Geese, Rabbits and Guinea Pigs. Every single resident from the smallest guinea pig to our larger equines has a unique personality and contributes to the wonderful lively atmosphere of our farm.

Start your day the farm way with our morning feed workshop

Join us to help feed all our residents. It’s a wonderful hands on opportunity to meet our animals close up and learn how we care for them

  • Time: The session begins promptly at 9:00 AM on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday

  • The experience lasts approximately 1 hour

  • Please gather at The Barn a few minutes before the start time

  • Wear appropriate footwear (e.g. wellies)

As the activity deals with live animals, the feed is subject to change due to weather or other commitments. Please call ahead or check social media for any last-minute updates.

Meet Bob the Donkey, now at his happy place.

Bob joined Hill Farm in 2025 after being rescued from Kent. He was feeling very lonely and heartbroken after losing his horse friend. Since arriving at Hill Farm, Bob has found his happy place and a new family to love. Guests are often charmed by his unique bray which sounds like “rusty pipes”
